Google Easter eggs

 

Many of you might be unaware of the big list of Google 'Easter eggs' which involves a lot of surprises. And who doesn't like cool surprises ?

As we all know, Google has always been on the lighter side for including some of the funny and clever features to celebrate a particular ocassion or an event. Following are some of the fun Easter egg search.

 

1. Text adventure



Text based adventure can be interesting. If it looks appealing to you, go to the chrome browser, search text adventure. Select the More tools> Developer tools from the drop down menu you would find upon clicking on the three dots at right top corner.  Type the answer Yes, when a question arrives asking would you like to play a game on a new console. Then the game would begin where you have to find and assemble the word 'Google' as you go through the adventure. It takes around 30-60 minutes to complete the game.

2. Blink html

Typing this in the search bar will make all bold text blink. Sounds cool, right?

3. Askew



 

Search this on the Google and you will find your search page tilted. Try this with someone who is unaware of this.

4. Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon

Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon or "Bacon's Law" is a parlor game based on the "six degrees of separation" concept, which posits that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart. Movie buffs challenge each other to find the shortest path between an arbitrary actor and prolific actor Kevin Bacon. The idea to develop came from an interview taken by  Premiere magazine with Kevin Bacon in January where he said that he had worked with everybody in Hollywood or someone who's worked with them. Following this, a lengthy newsgroup thread which was headed Kevin Bacon is the Center of the Universe appeared which led to Four Albright College students invented the game that became known as "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon

5. Pacman

The most classic arcade game in 1980 was developed and released by Namco. The original Japanese title was Puck Man. The game is considered important and influential, and it is commonly listed as one of the greatest video games of all time. The success of the game led to several sequels. The Pac-Man video game franchise remains one of the highest-grossing and best-selling game series of all time, generating more than $14 billion in revenue (as of 2016).The character of Pac-Man is the mascot and flagship icon of Bandai Namco Entertainment. The player controls Pac-Man, who must eat all the dots inside an enclosed maze while avoiding four colored ghosts. Eating large flashing dots called "energizers" causes the ghosts to turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for bonus points.

 

6. Zerg Rush

Zerg Rush on April 27th, 2012, Google enabled an Easter egg in name of Zerg Rush for the search query “zerg rush”, which would launch a playable game with small “o” characters that destroy search results if they are not clicked with the mouse pointer but the twist is you can also fight back by clicking on each Zerg several times will defeat them. It was inspired by the hugely successful real-time strategy game Star Craft, it's a common tactic used by the alien race known as the Zergs. When the animation finishes, you can post your score to Google+.



7. Play the Wimbledon Tennis Game on Google

Google's latest Easter Egg is a hidden Wimbledon-themed tennis game. Here's how you can play the game on your PC or mobile. Just search ‘Wimbledon’ or ‘Wimbledon scores’ on google to play google’s hidden tennis game.

                                     


8. Flip a coin

Search ‘flip a coin’ or ‘coin flip’ on google and try flipping the coin as many times you want.

     


9. Graph Heart in Google Search

           


You can see an image of a heart as a graphical representation if you search (sqrt(cos(x))*cos(500*x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.4)*(3-x*x)^0.1

10. LGBTQ

In Google docs spreadsheet enter the word pride with each letter in each column and when you typed in the P.R.I.D.E the sheet will change to colorful from boring white.
