LI-FI TECHNOLOGY

WHAT IS LIFI TECHNOLOGY? LiFi is a wireless technology that holds the key to solving challenges faced by 5G. LiFi can transmit at multiple gigabits, is more reliable, virtually interference-free, and uniquely more secure than radio technology such as Wi-Fi or cellular. ECOSYSTEM: - LiFi is a wireless technology that uses light rather than radio frequencies to transmit data. The technology is supported by a global ecosystem of companies driving the adoption of LiFi, the next generation of wireless that is ready for seamless integration into the 5G core. HOW IT WORKS? In a digital transmission system, data will be converted into binary bits in the form of zeros and ones equivalent to ‘on’ and ‘off’ states. Visible light is an ultra-fast electromagnetic wave with unlimited bandwidth to utilize. High-speed switching of light can’t be detected by human eyes but highly sensitive photodiodes can efficiently detect the modulation of light interact with the detectors. Compared to radio wav

Database Management in the Cloud Computing Era

Cloud Database Introduction- Cloud computing is the driving force behind many successful services, the reason being it offers businesses computing resources at scale. Database management can be an expensive and complicated operation, and many agile-minded teams aren’t satisfied with the slow progress of the database development process. That’s where cloud database management comes in. This guide outlines the basics of cloud database management and reveals how a cloud database management tool can help you achieve your desired goals. What’s Different About Cloud Database Management? Since Big Data arrived on the scene, database management has become more complicated and difficult. In addition to traditional, structured data like product intelligence and business contacts, we now have unstructured and semi-structured data, which is significantly harder to analyze. A significant amount of unstructured and semi-structured data comes from the mobile web. With more people around the world acc

Facebook Smart Glasses Coming ‘Sooner Than Later’ Without AR

Facebook’s smart glasses will let users record the world around them, and take pictures. Facebook says its first pair of consumer “smart glasses” will be releasing next year as a branded Ray-Ban product , CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced during the opening keynote of its all-virtual Facebook Connect conference. It’s not clear what features the device will have, but Facebook has confirmed to  The Verge  that the device will not be classified as an AR device, and it will not have an integrated display of any kind. The company has talked for years about its plans to build AR devices that resemble a standard pair of glasses, and the company is now working with Ray-Ban maker Essilor Luxottica to design the frames of its first consumer smart glasses, confirming rumours last fall that the company had partnered with the Italian eyewear brand.     What are Facebook Ray-Ban Stories? What exactly do these do? Facebook’s first ‘smart’ glasses capitalise on the iconic Wayfarer design that has been as

Messenger-RNA Vaccines

Conventionally vaccine contain a tiny-weakened part of the disease-causing pathogen just enough to teach our body to build the specific antibody so that in case of any real encounter with that pathogen, body is equipped to defeat it. mRNA vaccines on the other hand are quite different from any other vaccines, instead of live or dead pathogen, mRNA vaccine introduces molecules of synthetic RNA into immune cells where the vaccine functions as mRNA, causing the cells to build foreign  protein  that would normally be produced by a  pathogen  (such as a virus). These protein molecules stimulate an  adaptive immune response  which teaches the body to identify and destroy the corresponding pathogen.   Advantages: ·        Safety : As mRNA is a non-infectious, non-integrating platform, there is no potential risk of infection or insertional mutagenesis. Additionally, mRNA is degraded by normal cellular processes, and its in vivo half-life can be regulated through the use of various modi
